About EVCMS

East Vancouver Community Music School is a non-profit society formed in 2008 by professional musicians and teachers. We provide music education services including private lessons, group classes, recitals, and community events in Vancouver, BC.

Account Registration

Some features of our website require you to create an account. When you register, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information

  • Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are inactive for an extended period.

Lessons and Classes

Scheduling

Lesson times are arranged between students (or their parents/guardians) and their assigned teacher. EVCMS facilitates these arrangements but individual scheduling is managed directly with your teacher.

Cancellations

We understand that life happens. If you need to cancel a lesson, please provide your teacher with at least 24 hours' notice. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may not be eligible for rescheduling, at the teacher's discretion.

Fees and Payment

Lesson fees are set by EVCMS and are communicated at the time of enrollment. Payment is expected according to the schedule agreed upon at registration. We reserve the right to adjust fees with reasonable advance notice. Information about our bursary program for families who need financial assistance is available on our FAQ page.
